Budget Heating, Cooling & Plumbing serves Frontenac, the St. Louis County community centered around Lindbergh Boulevard and Clayton Road. We maintain, repair, and replace the heating, cooling, and plumbing systems that keep larger homes here running quietly.
Frontenac houses are rarely simple. A home on an acre lot off Conway Road might have two furnaces, two condensers, a zoned upstairs, a wine room, and a finished lower level that absolutely cannot flood. That kind of setup rewards a contractor who plans before cutting. When one of two systems fails, we check whether both are the same age — because if they went in together, the second one is usually not far behind, and it’s worth knowing that before you spend.
Many Frontenac homes date from the 1950s through the 1980s and have been expanded since. Additions, sunrooms, and converted spaces often sit at the end of long duct runs and never quite match the rest of the house. A dedicated mini-split frequently solves that room without disturbing the existing system. For full replacements, our AC installation team sizes equipment with an eye toward quiet operation and even temperatures across big floor plans, not just raw tonnage.
Why do Frontenac homeowners call a plumber before anything leaks?
Because in a house this size, water damage is expensive and hard water is relentless. St. Louis County water is hard enough to scale fixtures, spot glass, and shorten appliance life, and homes with multiple baths feel it most. We install and service water softeners sized for real household demand. We also test aging pressure regulators and supply valves — small parts that fail quietly and cause big messes.
Budget has been family-owned since 2009, and our St. Peters headquarters puts Frontenac within easy reach down Highway 364 and I-270. Pricing is presented upfront and approved by you before work starts. Frontenac is part of our broader St. Louis County service area, and we’re glad to be the second opinion on any bid you’ve received.

“Tech came out and did an extremely good job getting my outside unit to work. Vernon was a professional from start to finish. Unfortunately we couldn't fix the unit because of the price for freon. But I would highly recommend this company to any of my family and friends!!”

“Cole was very knowledgeable and friendly. He took his time and didnt try to upsell a bun h of unnecessary things when I explained my situation. Patrick and team who returned to do the whole system install did an amazing job . New unit works amazing. Budget also gave us a temporary portable unit while waiting on ours to come in very friendly company. Also over 5k less than the first quote we received!”

“Graham came out to diagnose our AC unit when it stopped working. He quickly identified the issue as a wiring problem and explained that, since the unit was less than two years old, we should contact the original installers to have it addressed under warranty. Even though he wasn’t the one to make the repair, he was knowledgeable, honest, and took the time to explain the problem clearly. Graham was professional, courteous, and very helpful throughout the visit. I appreciate his integrity and would gladly recommend him.”
