What size furnace does my home need?

Bigger is not better — that’s the single most expensive myth in heating. An oversized furnace blasts the house warm, shuts off, and repeats that cycle hundreds of times a day, wearing out parts and leaving rooms uneven. Undersized, and it runs all night without ever catching up on a 5-degree morning.
